They don't provide invoices, which is illegal!!! Limited electrical outlets and no USB ports in the room!!! The outdoor restaurant contributes excessively loud music during morning hours!!! Customer service feels disconnected from guest needs!!!

I recently stayed at Melia Casa Maya Cancun and had a pretty enjoyable time. The room, a Melia Room Ocean View, was spacious and clean, with a stunning view of the beach. The staff were really welcoming and attentive, which made a big difference. I loved the Mexican breakfast at Cape Nao. The options were delicious, especially the salmon omelet and churros. I also appreciated the well-maintained beach area that had soft white sand. That spot was perfect for relaxing. However, there were some issues I faced. The water park wasn't yet available, which was disappointing because my kids were looking forward to it. Service at some of the buffet meals was hit or miss. There were times when I felt neglected while waiting for food. Another downside was the concerning lack of electrical outlets in the room. I had to crawl under furniture to find a spot to charge devices. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but some areas definitely need improvement to maximize guest satisfaction.

We had a fantastic family getaway at this hotel! The huge, well-equipped suite featured a breathtaking view of the lagoon and the sea. My kids loved the clean beach and the two heated pools, which made it a fun experience for everyone, including our pets.
In my wife’s opinion, the check-in process for large families could be smoother.

I loved lounging by the beach access and enjoying the water park on site, which kept the kids entertained while I relaxed. Everything was great overall, though the dining options felt a bit limited during peak hours. Just a heads up, the parking situation can get tricky, so arrive early to snag a spot! 🌊

The location was a total win, with the beach just steps away and the pools sparkling clean every morning. Plus, shoutout to the fantastic breakfast – it was a work of art, featuring tasty Mexican and international bites!
However, the room left much to be desired. it felt like a throwback to the '60s, and the balcony door was a squeaky nightmare! Service patterns in the restaurant could definitely use a tune-up.

The location was fantastic, just steps away from the beach, making it convenient for our family. We loved the clean pools every morning, and the breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious dishes that everyone enjoyed. However, the room decor felt quite dated, and the balcony door was a bit noisy. Overall, it was a memorable family trip with plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.
